Heading west on I-182
There are a few advantages of needing other people to drive you around. One of them is that you get to look out the window at anything you like! The other is that you get to spend more time with your friends. Both are tremendous counterweights to the frustration of being mobility limited. I am looking forward to being able to drive again - hopefully next week - but until that happens, I'm also enjoying looking out the window, spending time with friends, and paying closer attention to what's happening around me.
Today was an incredibly spring-like day - temperatures in the mid-50's, a good, fresh breeze in the morning, followed by blue skies. Eagles flew along the river all morning, and I heard red-winged blackbirds singing while I was outside. A sure sign that warmer weather will arrive!
